Short Historical Background

 CYCLON HELLAS S.A was founded in 1981. With the completion of the construction of an ultramodern unit of re-refining lubricants blending plant, in the Aspropyrgos industrial area (Attica), the company gained the ability to produce final lubricant products, while at the same time has started the commercial activity, of paraffin marketing.

The company has been established in the lubricants market, with the commercial mark –CYCLON.

In 1991, starts the activity of export sales. CYCLON products are marketed in countries of the E.U, the Middle East, and the Balkans In 1992 CYCLON was certified by the International standard for quality assurance, ISO 9002 that was issued by international institution of certification, while since 2003 is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 standards. In 1994 the construction of a new production unit of heavy lubricants is completed, while the company is the only one that produces and markets a particular fraction of base mineral oil, bright stock, which is essential for the production of various lubricants.

The completion of vamping up several production units, results to the increase of production capacity, while at the same time, in 2000, CYCLON enters the fuels market and acquires a network of service stations with the CYCLON brand, which since then is continuously expanding.

In November 2001 the company becomes public and the shares are now negotiating in the Athens Stock Exchange (A.S.E). Having as main objective the protection of the environment, the company realizes her mission, that is the completed service of the consumer of lubricants and fuels, through a friendly and dynamically developing network of sales of qualitative products and services
